Good news, bad news, and blind mice all come in 30's

You know the old saying, "Bad things come in 3's" ... Well what if the saying was "Bad things come in 30's"?

Imagine the horror as you realize, around bad event #9, that you're in a bad streak and still have 21 bad things to go!

That's exactly where I found myself a couple weeks ago. I was in the middle of a particularly bad day and asked my wife "What if bad things always came in 30's"

The humor of it gave us a good laugh and made the rest of the day (and the remaining bad things) easier to deal with.

I finished that day with a "bad thing" count of 17.
